Stay Off the Roof!

TODAY CAN BE A NEW DAY. You don’t need to continue doing what you’re doing. People may have told you that you will never be as good as you used to be. That’s true — you can be better than you used to be. You can rise to new peaks, fly to new heights, because you serve the God that lifts you up out of the dunghill and sets you besides princes. King David, through the lust of his eyes, fell into terrible sin. His life was miserable, and to the natural mind there’s no way out of what David got into, but He cried out to God, repented of his adultery and murder and God restored him. Oh, to be sure, he still had to suffer the consequences of his sins, but his heart was now clean before God. That is the beauty of God’s grace — He forgives when no man will. He remains close when every man turns. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. How is this possible?
With men it is impossible, but WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES.
