You may have heard it said by well meaning Christians, "I'm not perfect. I sin but God's grace is always enough."
Hallelujah that is true! BUT it can be deceptively misleading if we stop right there.
Receiving and resting in the sufficiency of God's grace is humbling and brings salvation and peace with God BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH, it is only one side of the coin, just the beginning. The greater Truth, the other side to the GRACE coin, is God's grace infuses us with HIS POWER to say no to sin, the power to put off the old man and the power to put the new man. His grace gives us the power, makes it possible for us to live the holy life He has called us to live.
So one side of the grace coin might say
ALWAYS ENOUGH
And the other side
POWER TO OVERCOME
