God Has Asked That You Pray for President Biden

Do you know God commands Christians to pray for our elected officials?

1 Timothy 2:1-3 NLT  I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.  2  Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.  3  This is good and pleases God our Savior,

America doesn't have a king, but we do have presidents and elected officials.
And the Bible doesn't say pray for those who rule over us if we voted for them, if they're godly or likable. How much more should we be praying if we disagree with the party platform and agenda?

Arguably the most vile and wicked leader in human history was King Nebuchadnezzar. Yet God used him for His purposes and placed godly Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednigo in positions of leadership and influence to temper his evil ways. Daniel was a man known for his prayer life, it got him thrown into the lion's den, and I am convinced his prayers also included the king.

If you're a Christian Republican and aren't praying for Biden now as much as you did for Trump, your heart is exposed. If you're a God-fearing Democrat and praying more for Biden than you did for Trump, you're guilty too. It's Christians in the prayer closet, not the voting booth that will move the hand of God on behalf of America.
