It's Never Too Late to Turn Again

"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; (32) but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."
Luke 22:31-32 NASB

The Holy Spirit dropped a revelation that I had never seen in this passage before. It is concerning the statement "and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." Jesus prayed that Peter's faith would not fail IN THE MIDST OF HIS FAILURE. And of course, Peter denied Jesus three times in His time of greatest need. He knew Peter was going to fail the test, that satan was going to get the better of him, yet He encouraged him, "when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." The devil can't win for losing. What seems like a momentary loss and a win for the enemy God will turn it and use it for His Glory. My friend, you may have fallen in the sifting, failure surrounds you on all sides, but there is hope! Jesus, your Intercessor and Advocate, has been praying that your faith may not fail. Draw again upon your faith in Christ. It is never too late to “turn again” and transform all those failures into a marvelous testimony of God’s grace, mercy and power. He did it for Peter and he does it for you too.
