Make Room for Each Other's Faults

Our past experiences have a major effect on what we perceive in the present. Our mind has a wonderful and powerful way of connecting the dots to give understanding to our present context. But our mind can deceive us. One person can scoff and dismiss another who does not clearly see the red can, but the can is black to one who has never seen a Coca-Cola can. So don't be quick to judge another who doesn't see it the way you do. That's why it is so important to "let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think." Romans 12:2 Also to "be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry." James 1:19   One way to do this is to "make allowance (room) for each other's faults" Colossians 3:13. In other words, extend grace to others BEFORE they hurt or offend you. We need a lot more proactive grace in this world.
