DAY EIGHT-Chap 15 & 16 Engaging the Bible: 10 Days Through The Gospel of John.

Chapter 15

I AM 7 of 7 is found in this chapter.  John chapter 15 rivals John chapter 10 in that Jesus communicates deep wells of truth. 

If I were to outline this chapter, this is how I would do it. 

    A.  The Believer's relationship with Jesus. (1-11)

    B.  The Believer's relationship to one another. (12-17)

    C.  The Believer's relationship with the world. (18-27

Chapter 16 

The first and last verses of chapter 16 tell us the purpose of Jesus' words. (1) These things I have spoken to you so that you may be kept from stumbling. (33) These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. 

The promise of Jesus to send the Holy Spirit (5-15) to be our Helper is the guarantee of His help and peace in this world.
