God's Wonderful Plan of Salvation in Christ

In John chapter three Nicodemus was confused and did not understand what Jesus meant when he said to him, "You must be born again."  

Do you know what it means to be born again?  

Can you explain what God did for you to make salvation available to you?  

How about what He did in you?   What changed?  

Most believers understand the need to repent of their sins and believe in Christ as their Savior.  But do you know what God has done to make His offer of salvation available to you?  He didn't just save you FROM sin, he also saved you FOR Himself.  In our salvation God provides many promises and spiritual blessings in Christ that are NOW, not just for one day in the future when we die and have the assurance of heaven and eternal life.  

For the next few months at the weekly Bible study at CWC we will be unpacking the many dimensions of God's plan of salvation.  Your own understanding of salvation will be increased as we walk through the Bible, Genesis through Revelation, that shows us what God did for our salvation, how He saved us, why He saved us, and what it means for us on this side of heaven.  You need this for yourself and also to have the confidence to share God's plan of salvation with those who need Him.  

I have broken God's plan of salvation down into ten steps that follow a logical progression of the saving work of God for mankind. (Refer to the picture above)

 These steps are as follows:

1. Election 2. Atonement 3. Gospel Call 4. Conversion 5. Regeneration 6. Justification 7. Adoption 8. Sanctification 9. Perseverance 10. Glorification
